Description Kadlec is offering a $15,000 Hiring Bonus for
eligible external candidates with at least 12 months of hospital
acute care expeirence and up to a $9,000 Hiring Bonus for eligible
external candidates with less than 12 months of hospital acute care
experience who meet all conditions for payment - this is in

exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse Resident to join our
growing 4RP/Acute Care Department located in Richland, Washington!
Shift Details: Full Time, 0.9 FTE. 12 hour NIGHT SHIFT. Shifts
include weekends. About our Acute Care Departments: Located on 4
River (28 private beds), 6 River (29 private beds -
oncology-focus), 7 River (27 private beds), and 8 River (27 private
beds), share a "patients come first" motto. Our multidisciplinary
teams create an evidenced based pathway for the best possible
outcome of each individual patient and the needs of their families.
The patient rooms have been designed to incorporate the latest
equipment, all within a spacious environment that allows family to
spend quality time with their loved ones. Minimum Requirements:
- Nursing degree/diploma upon hire required
- All Registered Nurses without a Bachelor's of Nursing (BSN)
degree or higher must obtain a BSN within 3 years from date of hire
required
- Unencumbered RN license in state(s) of hire, and wherever care
is delivered. If RN holds a multi-state license through the Nurse
Licensure Compact (NLC), the RN must adhere to the requirements of
licensure in the new state(s) of hire.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) card must be from the
following authorized governing bodies: American Heart Association
(AHA) - (BLS Provider), American Red Cross (ARC) - (BLS for Health
Care Provider), or Military Training Network (MTN) - (BLS Provider)
within 90 days of hire.
- Completed a pre-licensure nursing program and is newly
licensed. Length of time since graduation can vary; however,
typically is less than 12 months from graduation. Preferred
qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelors of Nursing degree (BSN)
- National Certification in area of specialty Duties include, but
are not limited to, the following: As a Registered Nurse you
provide professional, comprehensive nursing care for patients in an
acute care environment. You are also accountable for the delivery
of coordinated, safe, compassionate, therapeutic, evidence-based
quality care to patients and families, based on individual
physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, and appropriate care
strategies throughout the lifespan.
- Assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate patient's care.
Develop, update and coordinate the patient's plan of care to
achieve patient goals and to optimize outcomes and transitions
across the care continuum. Monitors, records and communicates
patient condition as appropriate. At the completion of the
residency, demonstrate competencies in populations served and
performs essential competencies as required by specific unit of
hire.
- Effectively advocate for ethical and holistic care to promote
the autonomy, dignity, rights, values and beliefs of those we
serve.
- Foster a learning environment for patient/families, nursing,
and other members of the healthcare team including students ;
facilitates formal and informal learning for patient/families,
nursing, other members of the healthcare team, and community.
- Accountable for safety, identifies and corrects problems, and
integrates evidence, and best practice into nursing care; uses data
and evidence to improve patient outcomes. Aligns patient safety,
self-safety and environmental safety as equally important for best
outcomes
- Engage in ongoing professional development; practices to the
top of license within the legal parameters of the Nurse Practice
Act, the Nursing Social Policy Statement, the ANA Code of Ethics
for Nurses, and specialty standards. Promote a culture of inquiry
that explores, integrates and disseminates research and evidence
based practice.
- Lead and coordinate teams, appropriately delegates, coordinates
care and collaborates with others as equal members of the
inter-professional care team to integrate nursing knowledge. Models
professional behaviors as a representative of the nursing
