POSITION SUMMARY: World Relief is a unique and invigorating

It has the dual responsibility of coordinating required services
for a caseload of newly arriving refugee families through the
Reception & Placement (R) program. The goal of the program is
self-sufficiency with specific responsibilities outlined
below.Compensation: $18.00 - $18.75 DOEESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Serve as
primary R case specialist for a regular, ongoing R caseload,
completing all required R core services within the R service period
(1-3 months)Perform and/or coordinate all direct services for
primary cases, and coordinating and assisting the Resettlement Team
as neededConduct ongoing assessment of individuals' well-being
throughout the program period, making referrals where necessary and
as neededMaintain accurate and up to date records including case
notes, case files, budgets, and reportsCommit to ongoing training
to ensure understanding of the R and MG program and to enhance
ability to perform required servicesDemonstrate professionalism and
excellence in carrying out all required functions as determined by
World Relief, PRM, ORR, and all other official grantors and
partnersMaintain open, ongoing communication with staff,
volunteers, and community partners on behalf of clients in
accordance with individual self-sufficiency plans, while honoring
confidentialityKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:Refugee resettlement
experienceBA/BS or work experience in a relevant field such as
Social Work, International Studies, Public Health, etc.Social
work/social services experienceKnowledge of and experience with
employmentBilingual Candidates - Language Preferences: Arabic,
Spanish, Somali, Burmese, Ukrainian, DariCross-cultural
experienceDirect-service experience with vulnerable
populationsExperience working with government agencies such as
Social Services, Social Security, Health Department,
etc.REQUIREMENTS:Personal Christian faith and desire to serve
vulnerable peopleCommitted to the vision, mission and values of
World ReliefHighly self-motivated with strong follow-through and
problem-solving skillsProficiency with MS Office suite and Google
Drive productsValid driver's license, willingness to drive clients
