Essential Job Functions:Review and process all necessary loan documentation for loan completion with extreme accuracy and adherence to compliance expectationsPerform loan audits/reviews on consumer loans to ensure accuracy, adherence to policies and procedures Establish, maintain and update files, databases, and records for reportingProvide member support on completing loan documentsFund loansCommunicate with member(s) via email, phone or in personUtilize existing procedures and sound judgement to solve routine or standard problemsUtilize resources to develop knowledge of policies and proceduresAbility to work independently with moderate supervision and be a team playerAbility to multi-task and work with a sense of urgency in a high volume and sometimes stressful work environmentAttend credit union training sessions, conferences and seminars as approved by Manager to expand professional knowledgeWork varying shifts as assigned for open hours Monday through Saturday. Work at the branch location deemed by the Credit Union to support credit Union business needsContribute to effective department and Credit Union operations by performing other related duties as assignedQualificationsSKILLS/ABILITIES:Basic familiarity of a financial institution's products and services, preferable in a credit union environmentComprehensive knowledge of credit union history and its philosophyActively participates in community outreach events JOB REQUIREMENTS:1+ years of similar or related experience2+ years of customer service experience High school diploma or equivalentDemonstrated ability to communicate with members or dealers about risk-based lending scores, loan documents, rates, loan decisions and credit union policies and procedures. Basic knowledge of lending products, services, and processes Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel and Outlook) and multiple software used to perform duties Must be bondable PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Per the Dictionary of Occupational Titles, this is considered a sedentary position. Frequent sitting (31-70%).Occasional walking (11-30%).Seldom standing (1-10%).Ability to lift up to 10 lbs. frequently, including negligible forces.Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. on a seldom basis.Frequent repetitive hand and wrist motions.Work environment is indoors, in a clean office area.Gesa Credit Union reserves the right to revise or change the job description as the need arises.
