Functions:Support R Efforts of Vision Systems such as IC / Sorter
Systems, and ADR Systems Support R Efforts in the Lab and in the
plants testing Work with plant personal to train, guild, and help
evaluate technology, updates, and trouble shoot system issues. Work
with vendors and plant personal during a project start up, Vendor
Acceptance Testing. Comfortable with Assembling Designs and test
fixtures, or checking Assembly Design. Organizing and Setting up
Lab, Training Class, and plant testing. Ordering parts, supplies,
etc. needed for work to be done. Work on, help develop, and train
on LambWeston Standards. Help with Corp. Engineer on project
support for LW Standards, Technical Support, Coordinate with
Vendors on testing, plant support, and validations. Support and
develop equipment documentation, best practice, pm schedule, etc...
Work with Plant Operators, Optical Techs., Plant Shift Supervisors,
Maintenance. Small project design, ownership, and manages with the
right people and function across Lamb Weston company. Creative
Ideals,Job Profile SummaryUnder direct supervision, operates lab
equipment, executes experiments and prepares reports for review to
support processing development and pilot plant in R organization.
Works with process engineers with day to day projects and delivers
prototypes. Requires one year experience in lab or manufacturing
plant environment.Position QualificationsBS in Engineering is
strongly preferredMinimum 2 years' experience in lab, manufacturing
plant environment or relevant experience in the food processing
industry.Knowledge of USDA, OSHA and FDA regulations impacting
facilities operation.Proficient at Microsoft office programs
including word, excel, power point, etc.Relevant training in food &
personnel safety.Excellent written and verbal communication
skills.Ability to safely operate pilot plant equipment.Full
understanding of test methodology.Basic understanding of material
capabilities.Ability to work various shifts on occasion.Physical
Requirements (optional)Regularly required to walk, talk, sit,
stand, climb stairs, write, type, push, and pull.Occasionally
lift/carry up to sixty pounds.Exposure to manufacturing
environments for periodic extended work days to include: loud
noise, excessive heat, cold, wet, and slippery conditions.Walking
and/or standing for long periods of time.Driving a company or
rental vehicle for up to six hours as needed.
