Job Description:
An exciting permanent opportunity has opened for an Ultrasound
Technologist (also known as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) with
a hospital in John Day, OR, where you will operate specialized
ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images used by
physicians to diagnose and treat medical conditions. Minimum
Requirements: National certification in specialty from the American
Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or from
Cardiovascular Credentialing International. Experience preferred;
hiring focus is on candidate fit and ability to work in a rural
hospital setting. BLS Certification. Comfort working in a small,
rural community and ability to function with limited nearby urban
resources. Willingness to participate in on-site collaboration with
Radiologists and physicians. Benefits: Relocation assistance

cost-of-living increases considered. Position Details: Participate
with Radiologist and/or physician by contributing technical and
professional knowledge. Operate specialized ultrasound equipment to
obtain diagnostic-quality images. Follow established exam protocols
as necessary. Review pathology, surgical, and delivery reports, as
appropriate, to follow patient progress and assess diagnostic
accuracy. Use professional judgment in performing and documenting
studies. Work schedule: Days, Monday through Friday. Location
