Physical Therapy Assistant Location: Kennewick, WA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,237 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/6/2026 About the Position Job Title: PTA Home Health Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: PTA Home Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum 1 full year Adult Home Health Experience License: Must have license in hand Certifications: CPR, BLS Must-Have: Recent Home Health experience, reliable transportation, current driver's license, and agency-required liability insurance Description: Home visits are required for this position. Periodic office meetings will also take place. The contractor must have reliable transportation. An active driver's license and agency-required liability insurance are necessary. The average number of patients per day is 5-6. Contractors will be assigned between 5-10 patients per day, which equates to roughly 6-8 points. In a typical week, 30 points of productivity are expected. Types of cases include Start of Care and Follow Ups. First-timers are not accepted; recent Home Health experience is necessary. Weekend requirements vary by location and profession, and this should be discussed during the interview. On-call requirements vary by job and location and should also be discussed with the manager during the interview. Contractors must be willing to travel up to 75 miles from their home clinic. Mileage will be reimbursed at the IRS Standard rate. Compensation will be provided for travel between patient homes. The commute to and from the first and last patient is not billable. Local candidates are accepted the same as travelers. Pending licenses are not accepted; a license must be in hand unless it takes a few days to obtain. Travelers should be open to floating to nearby clinics if necessary. All documentation must be completed within 24 hours of the appointment with the patient. Late or incomplete documentation impacting billing and follow-up patient care may result in cancellation. There are no guaranteed hours with this contract.
