Job Description Hematology/Oncology opening in OregonLocated in
La Grande, ORFull-Time & PermanentSeeking a BE/BC
Hematologist/Oncologist to join medical clinic in Oregon due to
pending retirement. Schedule: 4 days a week, 8 hours a day at the
main Hospital, office hours 8am-5pm. 1 day a week, 8-hour day at
the other hospital. (This is factored into the current FTE, approx.
6-8 patients a week) Support staffing: Full time: oncology nurse
navigator, clinic nurse, receptionist and scheduler, authorization
and referral coordinator, nurse manager. 0.8FTE Oncology nurse
practitioner 9 patients per day Hem/Onc providers are within the
clinic space to support Infusion staff as well. The Infusion Clinic
supports approximately 475-525 infusions per month. Level 4 Trauma
Center Call Ratio: Coordinated with Nurse Practitioner EMR: EPIC
BLS or ACLS MD or DO Not For Profit Health System Compensation
Details: Very competitive total compensation opportunity (600k)

malpractice Oregon Tax Credit: The State of Oregon offers an income
tax credit of $5,000 for physicians practicing in La Grande, which
is equivalent to earning another estimated $9,930 in base salary
not reflected in the numbers above. [The Credit is applied to
Oregon taxes before FICA tax and the estimate is based on tax
brackets of 9% for State, 33% for Federal, 1.45% for Medicare and
6.2% for FICA.]Location:We are located in Northeast Oregon, nestled
within the mountain ranges that dominate our landscape Blue
Mountains to the west and Eagle Caps to the southeast. These
mountain ranges surround the Grande Ronde Valley, the second
largest enclosed valley in the world and home to Union County.

3,700 acres of year-round access to the Blue Mountains. In winter,
it is a popular place for back-country skiing and snow-shoeing.
Union County is also home to Eastern Oregon University.
