Job Description:
Job Description Join Our Team We are looking for a compassionate
and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to support our behavioral
health and medical teams. In this role, you will help provide
high-quality care by assisting with clinical procedures, supporting
clients during treatment, and ensuring accurate documentation. This
position works closely with nurses, providers, and behavioral
health staff to create a safe, supportive environment for clients
of all ages. What You’ll Do Support Patient Care Take and record
vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, height, and weight.
Administer medications and injections according to provider orders
and safety guidelines. Perform venipuncture and prepare laboratory
samples. Monitor clients and report concerns to the nurse or
provider on duty. Assist With Behavioral Health Services Help
facilitate behavioral health groups using established curriculum
and guidelines. Support clients during behavioral health treatment
and recovery. Assist with crisis screening and notify clinical
staff if safety concerns arise. Participate in creating and
documenting safety plans when appropriate. Educate and Support
Clients Encourage medication adherence and healthy self-management.
Provide basic health education as directed by providers or nurses.
Collaborate with families, caregivers, and community supports when
appropriate. Documentation and Administrative Support Maintain
accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record.
Assist with client intake paperwork and lab documentation. Obtain
insurance prior authorizations when needed. Retrieve and track lab
results or other clinical data for providers. What We’re Looking
For Current Medical Assistant Certification (MA-C) in Washington
State First Aid and CPR certification Valid driver’s license and
vehicle liability insurance Food Worker Card Strong communication,
teamwork, and organizational skills Ability to work with diverse
