Registered Respiratory Therapist Location: Richland, WA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,398 per week Shift Information: 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/8/2026 About the Position Job Title: Respiratory Therapist - NICU Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT-NICU Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour; Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a Level 2 NICU and Adult ICU. Previous charge experience preferred. License: Valid Allied license required. Certifications: Current ACLS, BLS, CRT, NRP, PALS, RRT certifications required. Must-Have: Experience in NICU III or IV level. Neuro Trauma ICU experience preferred. Description: The position requires the ability to float between various internal departments. Flexibility in scheduling is essential. Weekends are required every other week per collective bargaining agreement. Expected patient ratios vary based on campus census. Agency staff will be assigned to one shift throughout the contract duration. Candidates should have extensive knowledge of various ventilators including high frequency jet and oscillating ventilators. Experience in intubation assistance and emergency protocols is crucial. Responsibilities will include patient assessments and management of respiratory care protocols. Candidates should possess skills in interpreting arterial blood gases and drawing arterial blood gases. The work environment includes an interdisciplinary team, emphasizing collaborative patient care. Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle a fast-paced environment are necessary. Adherence to all compliance protocols is required. References from supervisory roles covering the past year within a comparable specialty are necessary.
