Radiation Therapist Location: Walla Walla, WA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,371 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/6/2026 About the Position Job Title: Radiation Therapist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Radiation Therapist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience required License: Valid Allied license required Certifications: BLS, ARRT Must-Have: - Experience in Adult Acute Care and Pediatric Acute Care - Proficient in Custom Molds, Custom Shield, Tumor Localization, Block cutting - Experience with B-Mode Acquisition targeting and CBCT/kV/mV imaging - Knowledge of Compensation filters, Portal cast, Wedges, and dose calculations - Familiarity with Pinnacle (Philips) and Eclipse (Varian) - Expertise in External Beam Therapy, Gamma Knife radiosurgery, IMRT - Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy - Ability to operate Lift/transfer devices and observe Isolation Precautions/PPE - Knowledge of Radiation Safety and use of Rapid Response/Code teams - Experience caring for Neonate, Infant, Child, Adolescent, Young Adult, Middle Adult, and Older Adult Description: We are seeking a qualified Radiation Therapist to join our team. The position does not require floating between units. On-call duties are not required. Weekends are not mandatory. No block schedules are necessary. The expected patient ratios are not applicable. Special requirements for this position are not specified. Previous charge experience is preferred, but the specific number of years is not defined. Candidate must exhibit a proficiency in charting systems. Experience in community hospitals is welcome. Travel experience is beneficial but not required. Certifications in BLS and ARRT are necessary.
