Position Physician Assistant - Cardiovascular / Cardiothoracic
Surgery, Nurse Practitioner - Cardiovascular Join our team as a
highly skilled Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
specializing in Cardiovascular and Cardiothoracic Surgery. This is
an excellent opportunity to contribute to patient care in a
hospital and clinic setting while developing your expertise in
advanced cardiovascular procedures. With a focus on inpatient and
outpatient care, you will perform first assisting during surgeries,
engage in clinic consultations, and provide vital coverage during
call shifts, including inpatient rounding and surgical callbacks.
Our position offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $1.00, with
comprehensive benefits designed to support your professional and
personal growth. Required Skills Valid and current PA or NP
licensure in appropriate state Minimum of 2 years experience in
cardiovascular or cardiothoracic surgery, preferably in a hospital
setting Proficiency in first assisting during surgeries and
performing complex patient assessments Strong clinical judgment and
communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a
multidisciplinary team Flexibility to work scheduled clinic hours,
hospital duties, and call shifts including nights and weekends Nice
to Have Skills Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support
(ACLS) and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) Experience with
inpatient rounding and surgical callbacks Prior experience working
in high-volume cardiovascular surgery departments Bilingual
abilities to serve diverse patient populations Preferred Education
and Experience Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies or
Nurse Practitioner program from an accredited institution At least
3 years of relevant clinical experience in cardiovascular or
cardiothoracic surgical teams Other Requirements Willingness to
participate in necessary travel and training Ability to work
overtime after 40 clinical hours per week Availability to cover
shifts from 04/24/2026 through 07/18/2026, including holiday
