Registered Nurse (RN) | Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma Location: Yakima, WA Agency: Thrive Staffing Pay: $1,898 to $2,092 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/9/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Department City/State: Yakima, Washington Shift: 12H Nights, 19:00-07:00 Contract Length: 12 weeks Start Date: 03/09/2026 Job Description: The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department will provide care in a high acuity, busy setting at a Level III trauma center. The role requires experience with a wide range of patient types, from neonate to geriatric, and involves administering medications, triage, and managing various emergency procedures. Responsibilities: Barcode scanning med administration Managing medication drips and blood product administration Triage experience and must pass hospital's Triage Test before allowed to triage Set up chest tubes, art lines, and assist with trauma and code cases Splinting, bipap/vents, and a good understanding of ESI Pediatric emergency medicine experience preferred Experience with Point of Care Labs is a plus Requirements: Minimum of 3 years experience in a large volume ED with high acuity patients Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC Does not consider first time travelers Strong preference for experience with EMR: EPIC Requirements Required for Onboarding BLS Core Mandatory Part I Core Mandatory Part II (Nursing) Core Mandatory Part III
