Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to both adult and
pediatric patients on the Med/Surg unit Perform thorough
assessments, administer medications, and monitor patient responses
Collaborate closely with the hospitalist physician and nursing
colleagues to coordinate care Document patient care accurately in
the medical record and communicate changes promptly Prioritize
patient safety by following ACLS/BLS/PALS protocols and hospital
policies Work independently with minimal supervision while
escalating concerns appropriately Support and mentor team members
to maintain high-quality, efficient unit operations Qualifications
Registered Nurse (RN) with active licensure (able to practice in
the assignment state) Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing
experience (Med/Surg preferred) Current ACLS, BLS and PALS
certifications (required) Comfortable caring for both adult and
pediatric patients Demonstrated ability to work with minimal
direction and strong clinical judgment Excellent communication and
teamwork skills Knowledge & Skills Strong Med/Surg clinical
knowledge and pediatric care fundamentals Proficiency in 12-hour
clinical shift workflow and time management Skilled in patient
assessment, medication administration, and documentation Ability to
follow ACLS/BLS/PALS emergency protocols confidently Good critical
thinking, prioritization, and multi-tasking under pressure
