Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ED - Emergency Department - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/02/2026 - Duration: 8 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - ER Job Details: • Function as both caregiver and care manager for assigned patient groups • Implement the Nursing Process while directing and overseeing other caregivers through delegation and supervision • Perform comprehensive patient assessments focusing on physiologic, psychosocial, and cognitive status • Document patient care via electronic medical records and paper processes per policy requirements • May function as Charge Nurse including patient assignment delegation and staff coordination • Work 8 to 12 hour shifts with frequent standing, walking, lifting, and physical demands • Ability to lift/carry up to 30 lbs regularly and assist with lifting 60-300 lbs as needed • Must demonstrate emotional stability in high-stress environment for extended periods • Current Washington State RN licensure required • HCP level BLS certification required within 30 days of hire • ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire • PALS certification required within 12 months of hire • TNCC certification required within 12 months of hire • Moderate sedation training required within 12 months of hire • Emergency Department-CEN certification preferred • Minimum one year RN experience preferred for specialty departments • Acute care registered nurse experience preferred • Up to 24 hours of call off available at no cost during assignment Facility: This healthcare organization operates with core values focused on listening, love, respect, excellence, and innovation.
