Respiratory Care Practitioner – Respiratory Therapy at
Providence Health and Services summary: Respiratory Care
Practitioners and Senior Respiratory Care Practitioners deliver
respiratory therapies and treatments according to physician orders
in various hospital departments, including ICU, NICU, and emergency
settings. Senior practitioners also serve as resources and trainers
for other staff, maintaining professional standards but without
supervisory authority. The roles require accredited respiratory
therapy education, licensure, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification,
with experience preferred in acute care settings. Description
Respiratory Care Practitioner and Senior Respiratory Care
Practitioner — Respiratory Therapy Unit — Kadlec Regional Medical
Center Richland, WA Kadlec is offering a $20,000 Hiring Bonus for
eligible external candidates who meet all conditions for payment.
This is a combined posting for a Respiratory Care Practitioners and
Senior Respiratory Care Practitioners. The requirements of each
role are listed below under each associated title. Consideration

you to apply. Under the direction of the leadership of Respiratory
Therapy services, the Respiratory Therapist is responsible to see
that all treatments/procedures are carried out according to the
provider orders. Respiratory therapy operates within all areas of
the medical center and assignments will be made based on skills and
abilities. Care is provided in areas of the medical center,
including but not limited to NICU, Adult ICU, Emergency Department,
Birth Center and general medicine. Respiratory Therapists may also
work in the outpatient pulmonary rehab area, as well. Pulmonary
Function Lab operates as a separate entity and requires additional
specialized training. Under the direction of the Respiratory
Therapy department leadership, the Senior Respiratory Care
Practitioner maintains standards of professional respiratory care
and performs related duties as assigned. Performs all duties of
staff RT and acts as a resource to other staff members. May train
or communicate instructions to other employees and inspect work to
separate acceptable work from unacceptable. Does not hire, fire,
discipline, promote, demote, transfer, or appraise performance.

Max: $57.70 Shift details: Full-time, 0.9 FTE (36 working hours per
week), variable shift. Required qualifications: Graduated from an
accredited school of Respiratory Therapy Washington Respiratory
Care Practitioner License is required upon hire National Provider
BLS - American Heart Association is required upon hire National
Provider ACLS - American Heart Association is required within 90
days of hire National Provider PALS - American Heart Association is
required within 90 days of hire Preferred qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited
educational institution 1 year of Respiratory Care Practitioner
experience in an acute care medical setting. Senior Respiratory
Care Practitioner Shift details: Full-time, 0.9 FTE (36 working
hours per week), variable shift. Senior Respiratory Care
Practitioner, Richland, WA, United States Min: $37.95, Max: $60.22
Required qualifications: Graduated from an accredited school of
Respiratory Therapy Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner
License is required upon hire National Provider BLS - American
Heart Association is required upon hire National Provider ACLS -
American Heart Association is required within 90 days of hire
National Provider PALS - American Heart Association is required
within 90 days of hire 2 years of Respiratory care practitioner
experience in an acute care medical setting. Preferred
qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy from an
accredited educational institution. Recent NICU, adult CCU and open
