Clinic RN - RADIATION ONCOLOGY at Providence Health and Services summary: The Radiation Oncology Nurse provides direct and indirect nursing care to patients undergoing radiation therapy, including patient education, physical assessment, and assisting physicians with procedures. This role requires a registered nursing license, basic life support certification, and preferably experience in oncology. The position is based at Kadlec Regional Medical Center, emphasizing compassionate, patient-focused care within a supportive and inclusive workplace culture. Description The Radiation Oncology nurse is responsible for the direct and indirect nursing care of patients in the radiation oncology department. The ability to retrieve, communicate or otherwise present information in a written, auditory or visual fashion is essential. The radiation oncology nurse is responsible for patient education, physical assessment, nutrition counseling and assisting physicians with exams and procedures. Required Qualifications: Coursework/Training - Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.
