This role offers flexible scheduling, strong specialty support, and a well-equipped emergency department in a Level III Trauma Center. Opportunity Details: - Location: Kennewick, WA - Contract Type: Emergency Medicine Locum Tenens - Start Date: ASAP – Ongoing - Shift Schedule: 12-hour shifts (Days and Nights Available) Facility Details: - Trauma Level: III - Annual ED Volume: 24,440 - Number of ED Beds: 21 - Fast Track Beds: 6 - Admission Rate: 10.8% - Transfers: 1.5% - ICU Beds: 14 (Open ICU) - EMR System: Paragon - Radiology Reads: Physicians read many of their own X-rays - CT/Ultrasound: CT in-house, Ultrasound on-call at night - MRI: On-call at night - Helicopter Service: Airlift Northwest, Life Flight Shift Coverage & Responsibilities: - Physician Shifts: 12-hour shifts (day and night coverage) - Physician Responsibilities: - Supervise APPs - Respond to floor codes and neonatal resuscitations - Perform bedside ultrasound - Manage emergent and trauma patients Provider Requirements: - Board Certification: - ABEM Preferred - ABIM or ABFM accepted with significant EM experience Certifications Required (if not ABEM-certified): ACLS, PALS, ATLS Experience: Minimum of significant emergency medicine experience if not ABEM-certified Support & Benefits: - Competitive Weekly Pay - AAA Malpractice Coverage - Dedicated Credentialing Assistance - Full Travel & Lodging Support This is an excellent opportunity for Emergency Medicine Physicians seeking a well-supported practice with strong specialty backup in a Level III Trauma Center.
