Job Description:

This position offers specialized nursing support for cancer patients, providing infusion treatments and education throughout all treatment stages.
Preference is given to enrolled members of the Navajo Nation, Hopi Tribe, or San Juan Southern Paiute Tribe, their legally married spouses meeting residency requirements, and other federally-recognized tribes, per Navajo and federal law.
Qualifications include an associate or bachelor--------s in Nursing, a valid unrestricted RN license, ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Provider Certification, BLS and ACLS certifications, and at least 2 years of nursing experience, including 3 years in oncology.
Must have experience with infusion therapies, strong relationship skills, and knowledge of cancer care.
Physical abilities include prolonged standing, lifting up to 50 lbs frequently, and moving over 100 lbs when caring for patients.
Responsibilities encompass patient assessment, administering chemotherapy, patient education, care planning, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
Must adhere to safety protocols, maintain accurate records, and ensure proper PPE use.
The role demands excellent communication, judgment, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
