Medical Technologist (MT) / Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) - Clinical Lab at Kadlec Regional Medical Center



Under the direction of the Clinical Laboratory Manager, the Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Scientist performs a variety of medical laboratory tests and procedures to provide data for use in diagnosis and treatment of diseases, follows established standards and practices and performs related duties as assigned; ages of patients: neonatal to geriatrics.



This is a per diem or on-call position working variable shifts.



Required Qualifications:

• 
  
• Bachelor's Degree in chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science from an accredited educational institution or equivalent education credits that meet Medical Technology certification
  
  
• Current certification as a Medical Technologist (MT), Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS), or Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) registered with NCA, ASCLS, AAB, NAACLS, ASCP or HHS or certification eligible required; required to obtain MT certification within 90 days of hire into this position
  
  
• Must meet CLIA Regulations
  
  
• Minimum experience is received during the internship as part of the certification
