Description:RN Resident - 7RP Cardiac UnitKadlec is offering a
$15,000 Hiring Bonus for eligible external candidates with at least
12 months of hospital acute care experience and up to a $9,000
Hiring Bonus for eligible external candidates with less than 12
months of hospital acute care experience who meet all conditions
for payment.The Registered Nurse (RN) provides professional,
comprehensive nursing care for patients in an acute care
environment. Working with a preceptor and assuming increasing
responsibility during the fellowship, the RN Fellow is accountable
for the delivery of coordinated, safe, compassionate, therapeutic,
evidence-based quality care to patients and families, based on
individual physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, and
appropriate care strategies throughout the lifespan. Practices in
accordance with the Nurse Practice Act in the state of employment,
the American Nurses Association (ANA) Code of Ethics for Nurses,
and the ANA scope and standards of practice. Key functions and
specific skills for the job are found in the unit specific
onboarding checklist and in standards that are applicable to the
specialty.Shift Details: Full Time, 36 Hours Per Week, 12-hour
variable shifts. Shifts include weekends.Shift Details: Full-time,
0.9 FTE. 12 Hour Variable Shift. Shift includes
weekends.Qualifications:Minimum Requirements:
- Nursing degree/diploma upon hire required
- All Registered Nurses without a Bachelor's of Nursing (BSN)
degree or higher must obtain a BSN within 3 years from date of hire
required
- Unencumbered RN license in state(s) of hire, and wherever care
is delivered. If RN holds a multi-state license through the Nurse
Licensure Compact (NLC), the RN must adhere to the requirements of
licensure in the new state(s) of hire
- Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS
required
- A recent graduate who has completed pre-licensure nursing
program typically within the last 12 months and/or less than 12
months of direct patient care experience requiredPreferred
qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelors of Nursing degree (BSN)
- Certification in related specialty areaDuties include, but are
not limited to, the following:As a Registered Nurse you provide
professional, comprehensive nursing care for patients in an acute
care environment. You are also accountable for the delivery of

quality care to patients and families, based on individual

- Assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate patient's care
to achieve patient goals and to optimize outcomes.

serve.
- Foster a learning environment for patient/families, nursing,
and other members of the healthcare team including students.
- Align practice with safety and quality. Be accountable for
safety, identify and correct problems.
- Engage in ongoing professional development; promote a culture
of inquiry that explores, integrates and disseminates research and
evidence based practice.
- Lead and coordinate teams, delegate, coordinate care and
collaborate with others as equal members of the inter-professional
