Kadlec Clinic has an exciting opportunity for a Coordinator Nursing Floors to join our growing Peri Anesthesia Unit team located in Richland, Washington!
SHIFT Details: Full-time,1.0 FTE. 8 Hour Day Shift.
Minimum Requirements:
Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS
Active membership in professional organization(s) (as applicable)
Acute Care:
Current WA State RN Licensure
Chemotherapy qualification within two years (Medical and Oncology only.)
Birth Center:
Current WA State RN Licensure
Cardiac Unit:
Current WA State RN Licensure
Emergency Department:
Current WA State RN Licensure
TNCC within 6 months from date of hire into the position
PALS/ENPC within 6 months from date of hire into the position
Operating Room:
Current WA State RN Licensure
Graduation from an accredited nursing program
Bachelor's Degree nn Nursing or higher, or in progress.If Bachelor's in Nursing or higher is in progress, must be completed within 3 years from date of hire
Current WA State RN Licensure
ACLS within 6 months from date of hire into the position
Resource Team:
Current WA State RN Licensure
ACLS within 6 months from date of hire into the position
2 years of recent nursing experience
2 years of recent nursing experience in related clinical setting
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree From an accredited educational institution
Acute Care:
Certification in related specialty area
Birth Center:
Certification in related specialty area
Emergency Department:
Certification in related specialty
Operating Room:
Certification in related specialty
o Certification in related specialty
Bi-lingual or multi-lingual skills Healthcare leadership and/or supervisory experience
Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
Under the direction of the Unit Manager, supervises the day to day activities of the Unit; Serves as a liaison between physicians, staff, patients and their families to facilitate safe and effective flow of patient care in a manner consistent with the Mission, Vision and Values of Kadlec Regional Medical Center; and assists in providing direction and supervision of nursing and support staff, as well as perform related duties as assigned.
Demonstrate and sustain compliance with Kadlec Caregiver Expectations Standard of Excellence and Code of Conduct
Understand, embrace, and instills Kadlec's Mission, Vision and Values
Act as a resource to staff, physicians, and visitors
Collaborate with other departments to create systems and problem solve ongoing issues that impact departmental/organizational goals and/or patient care delivery
Foster an environment that nurtures collaboration, teamwork, and mutual respect through effective communication
Take actions that indicate a consideration of others and being aware of the impact of one's behaviors on others
Optimize use of time by effectively using resources to identify barriers and balance priorities
Efficiently utilize tools, resources, techniques, and/or systems to organize tasks
Balance multiple priorities simultaneously, ensuring the timely and accurate completion of each task while maintaining quality standards
Provide input and participates in real time feedback, as requested
Direct and supervises employees
Collaborate with Human Resources on personnel issues
Collaborate with Talent Acquisition on recruitment items including completing requisitions, interviewing, hiring
Insure appropriate staff competencies are maintained (licensure, certification, orientation, mandatory training continuing education)
Continually assesses staffing needs and adjusts staffing assignments as needed to provide optimum patient care and productivity
Assist Manager in assessing and planning educational needs of staff, and makes recommendations
Provide leadership and guidance in goal setting, problem solving, resource management, outcome achievement and performance improvement activities
Assist Manager and/or Educator and staff in development of a Process Improvement Plan
Coordinate collection of data and works collaboratively with manager and staff to interpret data and to plan and implement techniques for improvement
Collaborate with other departments to create systems
Problem solves ongoing issues that impact departmental/organizational goals and /or patient care delivery
Coache staff effectively in growing and being successful in their current job duties including annual performance reviews and goal development
Organize and coordinates office functions (types memos, attends meetings, takes minutes, types reports and approves time cards)
Participate in unit and house-wide quality improvement activities in order to improve patient care and comply with regulatory groups
Provide support to the Manager as directed. Performs other duties as assigned
Maintain mandatory education requirements of the department
Identify eads and implements evidence-based practice opportunities within the unit
Assist the unit in high volume times by taking patient assignments in the area where competencies are held, as directed by the Manager
