Kadlec Clinic has an exciting opportunity for a Radiology Technologist KC to join our growing Nw Ortho Clinic Swift team located in Richland, Washington!Providence is offering a $1,000 Sign-On Bonus to external candidates hired for this position.Shift Details: FTE 0.6, guaranteed 24hrs/week, a combination of 8 or 4hrs/day, no weekends and holidays!Apply today!   • Graduate of AMA approved Radiology program.
  • Current WA State Licensure.
  • Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS.Preferred Qualifications:
    • Associate's Degree in Medical Imaging.
    • One (1) year diagnostic imaging experience.
    • Bi-lingual or multi-lingual skills.Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:As a Radiology Technologist KC you will provide radiologic care to patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders, and assists physician as required.

      • Understand, embrace, and instill the Kadlec Clinic Guiding Principles.
      • Perform routine radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures following evaluation of the physical condition of the patient.
      • Maintain production and quality of radiographs by following established standards and procedures; developing radiographs by following established standards and procedures; developing radiographs; observing radiographic results; making necessary adjustments.
      • Assist physicians in locating patient radiographs.
      • Answer telephone and follows through as necessary.
      • Perform lab testing as directed.
      • Release files as needed following proper protocol and maintains the record of such film loans with the RIS.
      • Assist with patient scheduling as required.
      • Receive examination request and confirms it with the patient chart or physician orders to include the appropriateness of the procedure. Consults with the Radiologist as needed.
      • Greet patient pleasantly, confirms identification and explains examination procedure to the patient.
      • Monitor patient condition and reports changes to appropriate personnel.
      • Prepare patient for procedure. Readies equipment for specific procedure to be done. Operates fixed, portable C-Arm equipment, CR, PACS, and Digitizer.
      • Transfer patient to examining table, positions patient and demonstrates sensitivity to patient's modesty.
      • Adhere to all radiation safety precautions and aseptic techniques following department policies and procedures.
      • Process, review quality, and prepare PACS Images for physicians interpretation.
      • Complete appropriate documentation as prescribed by the department and for quality control activities.
      • Perform transport duties as needed.
      • Transport sealed, pre-packaged procedure trays that contain sharps and non-narcotic medications for the purpose of stocking room in the department (example - Lumbar puncture tray).
