will support your growth. Position Summary The Area Manager
oversees a team executing a high level of customer care for key
accounts in Des Moines, IA and will drive the Leadership Engagement
Growth & Safety (LEGS) strategy of the Company. Through strong
communication and company support, the Area Manager will focus on
five key areas: Leadership – Demonstrate leadership and retaining
the right people to support the growth of our account. Employee
Engagement – Engaging and having direct contact with our workforce
every day to create a great employee experience. Customer
Engagement – Creating “Raving Fans” of our client through positive
customer relationships. Growth – Identifying opportunities that
improve our client’s services and deliver growth. Safety -
Proactively lead safety initiatives to ensure a safe work
environment for all employees. Key Responsibilities Directs and
manages key operational functions Develops and maintains
relationships of trust and engagement with on-site client Ensures
standards for service quality, equipment, safety and performance
are maintained and that cost-effective resources are used to
maximize service standards Implement processes and structure in
alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of
direction and focus Develops, monitors, and reports on operating
costs within functional areas. Alerts key stakeholder(s) of cost
and labor over run. Makes recommendations and implements solutions.
Builds a culture of work safety and leads by example with one's own
safe behavior Hires, trains, develops and appraises staff
effectively. Takes corrective action as necessary on a timely basis
and in accordance with Company policy. Consults with Human
Resources and Talent Acquisition as appropriate Conducts regular
operations staff / training meetings with all direct reports
Manages budget and controls expenses effectively Uses Microsoft
Office-based cost management system to audit budget for account,
which include: labor, supplies, leases and equipment Skills and
Qualifications Understanding of budgeting, labor and expense
management with a basic understanding of financial and accounting
practices ?Demonstrated strong leadership, team building and
coaching, as well as the ability to motivate people, assess and
develop employee skills Visionary leader with ability to inspire
respect and trust and mobilize others to fulfill the vision- be a
champion for your team ??Highly motivated and results oriented
?Strong analytical and decision-making skills Ability to identify

Spanish Floor Care Experience Education and Experience 5 years of
leadership experience leading a complex and multi-site team.
Janitorial, distribution services, manufacturing, mechanical or
other service-related industry experience preferred Demonstrated
ability to provide leadership with responsibility for a
decentralized workforce Measures of Success Meet or exceed net
