EAS has an exciting opportunity for an Administrative Assistant at
our Richland, Washington office. In this role, you will provide
administrative support for the team to ensure efficient operation
of the office. The Administrative Assistant will support managers
and employees through a variety of tasks related to organization,
communication and be responsible for confidential and time
sensitive materials. To be successful in this role, you will need
the ability to effectively communicate via phone and email ensuring
that all Administrative Assistant duties are completed accurately
and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.
A typical day for the Administrative Assistant will consist of the
following:
Provide administrative support for management, colleagues,
employees and the general public.
Responsible for the administration and coordination of various
office related tasks.
Maintain records and scheduling of various items including company
vehicles, insurance cards, location tracking, license renewals,
etc.
Schedule and track new hire physicals, annual exams and
authorizations.
Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports, letters,
photocopy, mailing, scanning, receiving and distribution of mail,
print out documents, produce and distribute correspondence memos,
letters, faxes and forms.
Organize and schedule meetings and appointments, book travel
arrangements, answer and direct phone calls. Book conference calls,
rooms, taxis, couriers, hotels etc.
Monitor levels and order office supplies, uniforms, office
equipment, etc.
Prepare and monitor invoices, submit and reconcile expense
reports.
Develop, resolve, and update administrative systems to make them
more efficient.
Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
Perform other duties as required
Top candidates for this position will have strong computer skills
with a high proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent
organization skills and detail oriented is a must. The ideal
candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and must be able
to work independently and interact effectively with all levels of
the organization. In addition, excellent time management skills and
ability to multi-task and prioritize work is required. Qualified
candidates should have excellent oral and written communication
skills as well as high ethical standards and the ability to
maintain confidential information. A high school diploma or
equivalent is required; college degree preferred. Desired
candidates will have two years of clerical experience in
administrative or office support work.
This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard
office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate.
The incumbent is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger,
handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and
arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit
for extended periods of time. The incumbent must occasionally lift
and/or move up to 35 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the
job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth
perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
