Get to know us: About - Gesa Credit Union Role Summary: We are in the business of people first, finance second! Relationships are essential to the growth and success of the credit union, and the Personal Financial Representative is on the front line of relationship building. This team member is responsible for providing exceptional member service through the fast, easy, and accurate establishment of new memberships, opening of new accounts, consumer lending, and account servicing. This team member is highly skilled at creating and developing ongoing member relationships, as well as educating our members on the benefits of the credit union's products and services. The Personal Financial Representative II is proficient with sophisticated accounts and service requests, assists branch leadership by taking ownership for operational duties, helps train other team members and leads the team. This position requires exceptional customer service skills, excellent communication, business and community partnerships, teamwork, collaboration, and goal setting. What You Will Be Doing: * Provide Exceptional Member Service in accordance with established matrix * Maintain an up-to-date and extensive knowledge of all credit union products, services, policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations * Assist members with establishing new memberships, opening accounts, consumer lending, and account servicing. * Expert at asking questions/interviewing members about their financial situation * Recognizes, initiates, and refers cross-sell opportunities by sharing the features and benefits of credit union products and services. * Proactively seeks out opportunities and asks for commitments * Consistently build and maintain member relationships with 100% adoption of Member 360 * Responsible for proactive sales initiatives and achieving personal production goals and objectives (loans, memberships, deposits, etc). Identify follow-up activities in accordance with established procedures and quality standards. * Proficient in opening, discussing and understanding business accounts, trust accounts, IRAs, deceased-owner accounts and other complicated accounts and distributions * Proficient in opening, discussing and understanding home equity loans (as appropriate) * Promote and support digital banking initiatives which directly support our relationship per member goals * Takes ownership of member concerns and provides prompt follow-up/resolution * Works with minimum support/supervision to resolve problems. * Maintain confidentiality and security of member information according to regulatory and organization guidelines and policies * Assist members in solving sophisticated account and lending problems * Perform all responsibilities in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
