Job Description:
Under the supervision of the Director of the Trios Birthing Center,
assists with surgical procedures as scrub staff for obstetric
surgical cases that include but are not limited to c/sections,
D&Cs, tubal ligation, etc., in addition to assisting with
vaginal deliveries when requested. With the guidance of the charge
nurse, assists in the planning, preparation, and turnover of OR
cases, L&D rooms, and triage. Unit Secretary duties include
manning the nurse's station, answering phones, securing entry
doors, and call lights, filing prenatal records, chart assembly,
and tear down. - The Unit Secretary may be asked to assist with
Special Care Nursery and mother/baby for chart management. - NACs
and CMAs may help with maternal care and newborn hearing screens,
newborn screens as delegated with competency verification. - -
Wage: $22.18 - $33.62
